Jobs, homes and prosperity for local people
The Greater Norwich Local Plan (GNLP), which will cover the period to 2036, will set out a vision and strategy for growth and include policies which will be used to determine planning applications in the Greater Norwich area.
The GNLP will identify sites for new homes, jobs and infrastructure and sets out what is going to be developed, where it will happen and how it will be achieved. Today (8th Jan 2018) marks the start of the Reg 18 Consultation period, and we need the public's help to shape the future of the Greater Norwich area, making sure the final local plan meets the needs and wishes of our communities. As this is the main consultation on the local plan, we need views to shape the plan’s content. We want to grow stronger communities together, so we are inviting everyone to have their say – even if it is only on one aspect of the plan which raises concerns or interest.
