GNIP Neighbourhood CIL accessibility statement
The Greater Norwich Project Team has made every effort to ensure the GNIP Neighbourhood CIL dashboard is as accessible as possible. However, certain elements remain inaccessible due to limitations within the Power BI software and the specific visual elements used. These limitations are detailed below.
The data in the dashboard is presented in an accessible Greater Norwich Infrastructure Plan 2025 document.
Inaccessible elements
Power BI, Microsoft software:
- Line and word spacing are not controllable yet in Power BI
- Power BI may truncate longer titles which cannot be manually adjusted
- Y-axis labels cannot be made horizontal
- It is not always possible to control font size within visualisations due to Power BI preset formatting.

Greater Norwich tab - Map of Neighbourhood CIL Allocation by Parish
This is a map which shows the locations of all the projects within the Annual Growth Programme. This is not an accessible visual. Please see the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy Allocation Tables in the Greater Norwich Infrastructure Plan instead. Alternatively, Press Alt, Shift and F11, or click on the three-dots on the top-right of graphic, to see this data in a table format.
Greater Norwich tab - Neighbourhood CIL Allocation by Parish Legend
This legend displays the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) allocation by Parish, categorised by colour ranges: 0, £1-£100k, £100k-£800k, £800k-£1.5m, and over £1.5m. Please note that this visual is not fully accessible and serves as a rough colour guide to the 'Map of Neighbourhood CIL Allocation by Parish'. For detailed data, refer to the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy Allocation Tables in the Greater Norwich Infrastructure Plan.
